In accordance with the recommendations of the Standing Committee on National Food Security and Research (NFS&R) of the National Assembly, a meeting has been convened on 22 July 2025 to deliberate upon the utilization of Tobacco Cess funds under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative in the tobacco sector, along with other matters pertaining to the welfare of tobacco growers.
